PRACTITIONERS PROFILES - ELLA HILL (TURTLE WOMAN)


TurtleWoman, Ella Hill is a recognized expressive arts therapist, specializing in educational, recreational, and therapeutic multimodal creative arts experiences. Ella holds masters degrees in both counseling and education and a post master's degree certificate in expressive arts therapy from Appalachian State University. Recently, she received 60 hours of training for Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors at Duke Integrative Medicine. She has been a presenter at The International Expressive Arts Association Conference, The Drum Facilitators Conference, and North Carolina Arts for Health. She is the Southeast Regional Coordinator for The International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. She is a contributing writer to Sourcebook in Expressive Arts Therapy, Headwaters: Appalachian Journal of Expressive Arts Therapy, and The Newsletter of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. Ella creates multimodal creative arts experiences to bring greater joy, health and well- being to people of all ages.
